Movie begins at 5:00 PM.

Then consider joining us for the Love Dare Bible Study Group held the following six weeks. Facilitators are Ashley Wirth and Heather Wilcox. For more information call 715-679-1135. Pre-registration for the Love Dare Study Group is appreciated. Study Guide and materials will be discussed and available for nominal reimbursement fees.

FAMILY LIFE MINISTRY

• Family Life Committee – Consists of chairperson, leaders of program groups, and interested individuals. Meet monthly to discuss progress of existing programs and to develop ideas for new programs.

• Anniversary Mass Committee – Coordinate acknowledgement of couples celebrating significant anniversaries at the 8:00 mass on the first Sunday in June at St. Michael parish.

• Bakers – Bake desserts or breads for various parish social events.

• Bingo Buddies – Assist with bingo at Marywood from 6:30-8:00 every second Tuesday from October through April.

• Birthday Volunteers – Bring Communion and/or a gift to parishioners over 80.

• Card Making/Calligraphy/Stamping – Make various cards to be included with gift and resource kits. Looking for people with calligraphy/stamping skills and those willing to design cards on their computer.

• Cherub Bags – Assemble/replenish small tote bags for toddlers to use in church. Bags contain a book, notebook, pencil, crayons, coloring pages, and a rosary. They will be located in the gathering space at St. Michael and the church entry at Resurrection. They should be returned at the end of mass.

• Coffee and Donut Committee – Pick up donuts and serve coffee and donuts after Sunday morning Masses.

• Elizabeth Ministries – Provide support for new mothers.
Fill-In Respite Care – Assist in relieving a family for 1-2 hours by sitting with a family member who is ill, infirm, etc.

• FISH - Fellowship In Someone’s Home – Promote fellowship between parishioners by sharing a meal. New groups are formed every 6 months and meet in a home for a potluck meal once a month.

• Funeral Lunches – Provide a lunch or dinner for family and friends of deceased parishioners.

• Group Marriage Preparation – Facilitate day-long deanery based program for engaged couples.

• Health Ministry Cabinet/Parish Nurse Team/Visit the Homebound – Visit hospitalized and homebound parishioners. Nurse team coordinates health screenings, distributes prayer shawls and provides health related assistance or support.

• Marriage FOCCUS Couples/Marriage Preparation Couples – Meet with engaged couples on a one-to-one basis.

• Men’s Breakfast – Gathers at Resurrection for breakfast, prayer & fellowship one Saturday a month.

• Parish Picnic – Help with the parish picnic at Resurrection. Help needed in planning, set-up, food, games, take-down, and liturgy.

• PCCW – Parish Council of Catholic Women – Provide fellowship for women of the Parish, raise money for selected parish needs. Meet three times per year at Resurrection.

• Prayer Shawl Social Group – Meet the second Saturday of each month, except December, at St. Michael’s to work on prayer shawls and socialize. Open to anyone – lessons are available.

• Soup Kitchen – Provide soup and bread monthly to the homebound. Provide soup lunch at Resurrection to the community on Wednesdays in Lent. Need chef-of-the-day to make soup, bread bakers, general kitchen help, delivery persons and dishwashers. Dining room help and general kitchen help also needed during Lent.

• Widowed, Single, Separated, Divorced Group – WSSD – Support group for Catholics from throughout the area. Meetings held monthly at St. Michaels and social events planned throughout the year.

• Vocation Committee – Provide “care packages” for seminarians, coordinate server’s picnic, pray for vocations.

• Welcome Newcomers – Help with welcoming socials after Mass on one weekend each quarter. Prepare and send cards to new parishioners
